Join Marilena Shyama Shakti and her team in a 8 day intensive, Aerial Yoga teacher training. It will be held in Cyprus.
We are happy to announce our first continuing education Teacher Training Course in Aerial Yoga. Marilena at Akasha Center is the first yoga teacher who brought the art of Aerial Yoga in Cyprus in 2012. In 2013 with Tanya Popovich they offered the first Aerial Yoga Teacher Training in Cyprus, continuing now with this new training.
Silentruth Institute Aerial Yoga Training is a complete training, teaching students all needed to become a well educated aerial yoga instructor, with awareness of the whole spectrum of this yoga style. With 10 years of teaching experience in Aerial Yoga field, education and experimentation with various levels of students and special population, i have created this course with special care and love, to encourage all instructors to use this yoga style as a support to deeper their yoga practice and their students in a different way and level. This trainings offers a high and middle high hammock practices and asanas including beginner, intermediate and advanced level practices. For those interested a low hammock Teacher Training offered in Summer, will complete their trainings in this field. Training is registered with Yoga Alliance International Continuing Education of 80hr.
Course Pre-Requisites
Anyone who have a sincere practice in yoga for minimum 3 years with us or not, is welcome to take part in this course.
Teacher & Team
All TTC are created by teachers and trainings keep inside their heart and experience and love for what they offer! Marilena Shyama Shakti CYT® is an artist and yoga-tantra-meditation teacher who started practicing yoga since the age of 15. Restorative Aerial Yoga TTC is a result of years of personal practice, teaching and experience with older students, handicap people, people with body issues and pregnant women. As a mindfulness meditation teacher she attach into this training many techniques that can lead to deeper release of tension, anxiety, stress, depression etc. Marilena understanding of uniqueness of each individual and her love to support and offer the best to everyone, have given her the strength to teach her own way.
Structure of the course
The course lasts for 2 long weekends, 8 days all. The course has practical exams in teaching a class. The aspirants who pass the exam and therefore graduate will receive a diploma, which entitles them to teach. Our aim is not to stress our students but to offer them the best education and preparation to teach further.
Accreditation
This training is 80 hours continuing education training, accredited by International Yoga Alliance.

Format – Prerequisite:
- long weekend format – 4 days TTC
- Interview with Marilena Shyama Shakti required
- Application Form required
- Sincere practice in yoga for minimum 2 years and / or minimum 200hr Teacher Training Diploma required
- Aerial Yoga Lovers who are not Yoga Teachers or Gymnasts or Pilates Instructors or Dance Teachers, they can attend to this training for personal development. They will receive a certificate of attendance (for this is not required to pass or take any exams or complete thesis).

To get certified:
- Successful completing of final examination.
- 10 hours of teaching a class & attendance of various aerial yoga classes
Cancellation and Refund Policy:
- If for any reason you cannot attend the course and have to cancel, the first payment of €300 is always Non-Refundable.
- If you have paid all the course fees and for any reason you have to cancel this is the policy then 50% is non refundable.
- Once the program has started Silentruth Institute TTC issues no refunds for trainings.
