Yoga Classes

Yoga is an ancient Indian form of exercise with a holistic approach, meaning that it treats a person in its wholeness – mind and body – unlike other forms of exercise. At Akasha studio we provide different styles of yoga classes aiming to support and help every individual in all his/her needs.

HATHA YOGA

Hatha Yoga is a class aiming a proper development of all levels of our being: physical, emotional, mental and spiritual. Physical static practices / asanas are combined with breathing practices / pranayama, relaxation techniques / shavasana, practices form the esoteric tantric hatha yoga, concentration and meditation. As a result of tantric hatha yoga practice is a good physical condition, elimination of stress and fatigue, proper health for the body, increased energy, calmness of the mind and expansion of consciousness.

• No previous experience required.
• Duration 75 or 90 minutes

FLOW YOGA

Flow Yoga links the postures practiced in a regular Hatha class into a sequence of movements that “flow” with the breath in a more vigorous series. Flow Yoga involves moving from one posture to another with very little rest in between. We move in a flow of asanas and breath, concentrating in the energetic field of our being and the flow of telluric and cosmic energies in and out of our energy body. Relaxation / shavasana, breathing exercises / pranayama, bandhas, mudras and mantras as well as meditation are parts of Flow classes.
